Jeff Muzzerall
If you’re wondering if university, college, trade school or even a gap year is right for you? I’m here to help. I am committed to realizing the academic and well-rounded potential that can be achieved through mindful personalized planning.
I started Alesco Education in order to provide practical advice to youth, communities, institutions and organizations to create, map-out and accomplish their goals for success in higher education.
I am a passionate relationship builder with more than 20 years experience with elite Canadian institutions including leadership roles with The University of Waterloo, The Rotman School of Management, The Ivey School of Business and Brendan Wood International.
My particular focus on career development has cultivated a deep sense of empathy for all involved in the learning journey and I bring this multifaceted perspective to all of my engagements to ensure the management of expectations for all involved.
So why have I chosen to spend my time helping others?
I know how difficult this path can be. I worked hard to accomplish an Honours BA in English & Mass Communications, a Master of Environmental Studies and an MBA while competing in varsity and intra-mural sports, participating in student leadership and exciting clubs. These were all self-funded with scholarship, bursary and entrepreneurial start-ups. I understand the resolve required to achieve challenging goals.
I’ve had to figure it out for myself, with a lot of advice, sage mentors and encouragement.
I’ve seen what successful students and families do from the inside of top programs and know how to make your journey easier.
I am committed to realizing the academic and well-rounded potential that can be achieved through mindful personalized planning.
